1/2 Cabbage Sliced ( 4 cups)
2 Carrots Peeled and Diced
1 Roma Tomato Chopped
1 Yellow Onion Chopped
4 Cloves Garlic chopped
4 Green Onions Chopped
4 Stalks Thyme
1/2 Scotch Bonnet Pepper ( Seeds and Ste, Removed)
2 Tbsp Water
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
4 Tbsp unsalted Butter
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
- Add all ingredients to large pan medium heat covered
- Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes reduce heat to low cook for an additional 5 minutes until cabbage is soft and tender
- Remove stalks of thyme and serve
