Nonna's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 6 Cloves Garlic Whole

  • 3 Cans Pastene Kitchen Ready Tomotoes

  • 1 Can Contadina Tomato Paste

  • 3 Carrots

  • 2 Stalks Celery

  • 1 Onion Peeled

  • 1 cup White Wine

  • 4 Regular Beef Ribs|

  • 3 Hot Sausages ( Par Boiled)

  • 3 Sweet Sausages (Par Boiled)

  • 2 Country Style Pork Ribs

  • 2 cups Olive Oil

  • 3 Bay Leaves

  • Pinch Baking Soda

Directions

  • Heat Oil and Saute Garlic
  • Add Pork and Beef and Brown
  • Add Tomatoes, 1/2 Can Water ( washing Out Tomato Cans) Onions, Celery, Carrot, Bay Leaves, and Bring to A Low Boil
  • Add Sausages and White Wine and Reduce Heat to Low
  • Simmer for 2 1/2 – 3 Hours
  • Remove Meat and Add Meatballs
  • Add Pinch of Baking Soda and Stir
  • Simmer for Half Hour
  • Let rest for an hour before serving.
